Reason for joining Board: I was so impressed with the NJ-IFMA Professional Development Conference that I thought it was time to dedicate some of my energies to the organization.

Role with company: Responsible for strategic facility planning, and daily operations of facilities support groups to make an inviting, inclusive and efficient work place to meet the needs of the corporation's business operations.
Years as IFMA member: 7 years
Reason for joining IFMA: Facility Managers (FMs) are unique in that their responsibilities cover a number of areas. From mailrooms to construction projects, from maintenance to real estate transactions, FMs are expected to have an understanding of every facility function and their unique processes. IFMA is the only organization that I know of that covers all areas of expertise through educational seminars, literature offerings, and local networks to aid the facility manager.
Reason for joining Board: I wanted to dedicate my time and energies into making a sustainable NJ IFMA chapter as the resource center for the latest and greatest local FM information and networking opportunities.

Reason for joining Board: The organization is a great resource for facility management professionals. I’d like to help the NJ chapter grow its active participants.

Role with company: Responsible for the planning & design of facility capital projects that are aligned and support the company's business plans.
Years as IFMA member: 15 years
Reason for joining IFMA: The organization is a valuable resource for obtaining the latest information on facility management issues, it provides access to a broad range of FM-related educational programs and presents the opportunity to network with peers sharing common professional interests.
Reason for joining Board: My goal is to increase the participation of professional members at the chapter meetings so that the meetings provide a forum for FM'ers to share experiences and discuss current issues and best practices.

Reason for joining IFMA: To utilize my 15 years in running my own business and managing the Maintenance Department for AT&T from Mississippi to California and share my experiences with others to help them run a more efficient operation.

Reason for joining IFMA: I attended meetings when I worked as a Facilities Planners for Reckitt Benckiser. I enjoyed the people and the organization.
Reason for joining Board: I have been friends for many years with Lesley Zitone, the former Associate Chair. I admired her work with the chapter and wanted to continue as well as help advance the role of Associate members within the chapter.

Reason for joining IFMA: I wanted to join an organization that actually caters to its members, their growth and gives them tools to succeed. This NJ IFMA Chapter does that and more.
Reason for joining Board: I was so impressed with the NJ IFMA board, its professionalism and  how this chapter functions, I thought I would enjoy helping with events and the growth of this organization.
