About our Speaker John Blair:
John Blair brings more than 25 years of hands‑on experience in K–12 facilities and public‑sector. He previously served as Energy Specialist for the Jackson Township School District, where he led district‑wide energy initiatives including audits, utility bill analysis, misuse prevention, and public reporting of savings. His leadership across teaching, administration, operations, and applied energy efficiency contributed to measurable results, including more than $6 million in cost savings, a $28 million Energy Savings Improvement Program project with a net zero cost to the taxpayers, $800,000 in Utility based HVAC upgrades, and over $3 million secured through competitive grants.
As an Energy Solutions Specialist at TSE, John applies a practical, results‑driven approach to developing energy strategies that deliver measurable financial and environmental outcomes. A frequent conference speaker, he also mentors emerging sustainability professionals and supports workforce education initiatives. John holds degrees in Economics and Spanish and a master’s degree in Educational Administration. He maintains professional certifications that reflect his comprehensive energy expertise.
