About this event:
Success in facility management depends to a great extent on a person’s ability to communicate. Communication is the process of creating and sending messages with the goal of influencing actions, opinions and decisions of the intended audience.
This lunchtime webinar program will feature speaker Brent Ward delivering a presentation reviewing the key components of communication and how to use it to maximize the facility management mission. It will also include FM member input on best practices.
Brent Ward Bio:
Brent Ward was raised in a construction family, has owned a painting company and has been managing facilities since 2007 – mostly in the Education sector, but also Banking and Medical Laboratories and started his consulting Firm in 2023.
Brent is past president of the Oregon Southwest Washington chapter of IFMA, is treasurer of the Facility Management Consultants Council and serves on IFMA's Americas Advisory Board.
He holds the Facility Management Professional (FMP) and the Sustainability Facilities Professional (SFP) credentials, the Certified Facility Manager (CFM) certification, and is a Certified Facilitator of Training (CFT).
