Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad Presentation and Tour
About the event:
Join us for our October monthly meeting at PFARS (Princeton Fire and Rescue Squad) facility in Princeton, hosted by Mark Freda, Mayor of Princeton and longtime First Aid Squad veteran, and current PFARS President. Tour and learn about the history and construction of the current state-of-the-art facility. In acknowledgment of National Fire Prevention Month, a member of the Fire Department will offer protocols for fire safety awareness and prevention.

5:00 - 5:45 pm – Arrival, networking and refreshments
5:45 - 6:00 pm – NJ IFMA chapter announcements and introductions
6:00 - 7:30 pm – Presentation and tour of PFARS (Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad) and Fire Prevention discussion. Optional tour of Princeton Firehouse to follow.
About our Host:
Mark Freda, a Princeton native, is in his fifth year as the Mayor of Princeton. Mark is currently the President of Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad, an independent nonprofit organization. Mark was the project manager for the construction of their building in 2018-2019.
Mark's successful 30-year corporate career in the real estate/facilities management field included Commodities Corporation, Goldman Sachs, Pfizer and Soros Fund Management. Mark has been a New York/New Jersey IFMA member and holds his CFM credential.
Civically, Mark is a founding member of the Spirit of Princeton Committee, serves on the board of Dorothea’s House, and was the chair of the Princeton Consolidation Transition Task Force; and served thirteen years on the former Princeton Boro Council. Mark is also a volunteer firefighter with the Princeton Fire Department.
