Presentation and Tour of Terminal A at Newark Liberty Int’l Airport

About the event:
Presentation and tour to include:
- Presentation by the airport facility management team explaining the inception of the New Jersey-themed amenities, showcasing the state’s geography, culture, and history.
- Description of the terminal Enterprise Asset Management system utilized for comprehensive asset management at the terminal, including the use of Maximo and EZMax Mobile.
- Showcase technology-based solutions for baggage handling systems, passenger boarding bridges, building management systems, virtual apron control, and SCADA systems.
- View the vast array of artwork, beautiful architecture, natural lighting, and furnishings, and focus on sustainability.
- See the Terminal Operations Center, Virtual Control Room, baggage handling control room, and a typical HVAC mechanical room.
Agenda:
5:30 pm – Arrival to the airport parking
6:00 pm – Meet in the conference room, where we will have a brief chapter meeting.
6:15 pm-6:45 pm – Overview and presentation by the Munich Facilities team
6:45 pm-9:00 pm – Small tour groups will be guided through the Terminal while those awaiting their tour will continue to network and enjoy refreshments.

Future Member (Non-Member) - $75.00
Facility Manager (NJ IFMA Member) - $50.00
Associate (NJ IFMA Member) - $50.00
NJ IFMA Board Member - $25.00
- Due to the high level of security, all attendees must register in advance, no walk-ins will be allowed.
- For security clearance, the airport facilities team must have the names and information of all attendees one week prior to the event and on the registration page, you’ll be required to provide your driver’s license or passport information.
- There is a maximum limit of 49 people for this event so please register as soon as possible.
